Two Day Training Camps

These two day training and assessment clinics are limited to four participants, where the emphasis is on each individual's specific needs and training responses. Everyone is different, so we find the best way to your best performance.
You will understand why different types of workouts will help you; but most importantly, how to apply it all in a time efficient program. The camps include a copy of Time Saving Training which you will find to be an excellent resource to review some of the things that you learn.
Form coaching and videotaping
Swim
Learn not only about stroke technique in general, but the
specifics that apply to your individual style. Visible stroke
inefficiencies are often caused by something else. We get down to
root of the problem.
Run
Inefficient running form costs you both time and energy.
Understand how you can cut your costs, and run faster. We also look
at stride distance and rate, to further enhance your running
potential
Bike
We measure joint angles to determine your best seating
position. Then on the road, we work on techniques to optimize
biomechanics and maximize power.
Assessments
Swim - Bike - Run VO2 max and lactate threshold
Learn all about your physiologic race potential from sprint
distance to Ironman. This is usually higher than past performances,
and gives us a good target. The testing identifies specific training
levels by heart rate, pace and lactate level. It is the essence of
smart training.
Cycling Power
A sometimes overlooked component, that can be the key to
reaching your potential.
Four week Training schedule
Based on the testing data, you then get a detailed weekly
schedule, with phone consultation for four weeks. You will know what
works for you. Usually we start with an emphasis to make a change in
one sport.
Edited Videotape
After the camp, you get an edited videotape, which makes
form corrections, with a voice over. You will see slow motion images
in all three sports, explaining in detail your particular
considerations, along with still images of preferred positions. See
